CHAPTER 18: MUSCLE Weighs More Than FAT ?
Muscles are significantly denser and more compact than fat tissue. Therefore, for individuals who have the same weight of both fat and muscle, the volume occupied by muscle mass is much less than that occupied by fat. As a result, someone with more muscle mass will appear leaner and more fit compared to someone with the same overall weight but a higher proportion of fat.
Those who work out tend to develop more muscle mass, which contributes to a leaner and more toned physique. In contrast, individuals of the same weight who do not engage in physical activity may appear larger or obese due to a higher percentage of body fat.
In conclusion, muscle tissue is denser and takes up less space compared to fat tissue. This density accounts for the difference in appearance between individuals with similar body weights but varying body compositions.
CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY! ✌
